Mad Monk's Mash-Up

The Homebrew Competition is back!!
And this year everything is changing!!!

MainStreet DeLand Association and Volusia County Home Brewers Guild, in conjunction with DeLand Craft Beer Week, are proud to announce the
Mad Monk's Mash-Up!
This Belgian inspired competition asks homebrewers far and wide to brew up your best, your most amazing, your mind-blowingly awesome Belgian style and Sour beers.

This competition focuses on BJCP Categories 16, 17 and 18.  All beers fitting these category guidelines are eligible.  In addition, any beers fitting in the specialty categories of 20, 21 and 22C with a base style in the previously mention categories are also eligible.

This year we are also bringing back our “Valentine’s Inspired” category, which is a recurring category each year.  Our “Valentine’s Inspired” competition asks homebrewers to represent the essence of Valentine’s Day in their brew.  If it says Valentine’s Day to you and you can figure out how to incorporate it into beer then go for it!! The final round for these brews will be judged by People’s Choice during DeLand Craft Beer Week. No style, No guidelines, No rules!
